Anew Era TMS & Psychiatry is a Full Suite Mental Health clinic. We offer Therapy, Medication Management, and TMS Treatment. We believe that timely psychiatric appointments are critical to best patient care. Therefore, we strive to schedule appointments within 3-14 days. We currently have 3 Licensed Psychiatrists, 6 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, PAs, and 6 Therapists on staff waiting to serve your patients. We strongly believe that money should not be a barrier to accessing mental health care, so we take most insurances, except for Medicaid. Lastly, we are committed to raising the bar in psychiatric care services by always providing excellent customer service from the first point of contact.
Kristy has 18 years of experience as a nurse and seven as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Her nursing experience includes work in the medical/surgical hospital setting, home health, hospice, and inpatient psychiatry. She has served patients as a PMHNP in a state mental hospital and a correctional psychiatric facility in the state of Texas. Kristy enjoys helping her patients with mental illness step into a place of higher functioning, confidence, and hope. She strives to empower her patients with knowledge about their illness to feel in control of their symptoms and confident as they move forward in their journey. Kristy is licensed to practice as a PMHNP in Texas and Colorado and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the East Texas Nurse Practitioner Association. Away from the office, Kristy loves spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, reading, traveling, and looking after the family’s land, cattle, and business.
Dr. Randal McIntyre has been practicing Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry in the Austin area for over thirty years. He was raised in Midland, Texas. He holds a BA – In biology from The University of Texas – Austin and an MD from The University of Texas Medical School – Houston. He did his internship in Family Practice at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Subsequently, he completed residences n General and Child Psychiatry at UTHCSC-Houston.
He is in doubly Boarded Child and Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. McIntyre has also been a clinical professor through the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and supervised students and residents for over twenty years; While his current practice is exclusively outpatient, he has a long history of in and outpatient care.
Due to his history in family practice, his clinical focus is holistic in nature and recognizes the “mind-body connection.” Most of his diagnoses and treatment incorporates a bio-Psycho social model, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy. He and his wife live in the Westlake area with their three (unruly) cats.
Ashley Gilmore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor in Dallas, TX. She has provided social and behavioral health services to DFW since 2004. Ashley has a wide variety of experience with all ages and specializes in mood disorders, trauma, pregnancy and postpartum issues, professional burnout, mindfulness and resiliency building, chronic pain management, substance abuse issues, and self-injury.
Ashley graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington to earn a Master of Science in Social Work degree in 2008. She has worked at Texas Health Dallas, Parkland Hospital, Dallas Independent School District, The Family Place, and New Beginning Center.
