Jessica Tancos MSN, PMHNP-BC

With a nursing career spanning over two decades, Jessica brings a wealth of experience and passion to the field of Psychiatric Mental Health. She began her healthcare journey in 1999 and has since worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including Neuro-Intensive Care, Behavioral Health Inpatient Acute Units, and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, eventually serving as an Administrator on Duty. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she moved to Florida in 2017.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Project Management from Saint Xavier University (2012) and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2023, becoming a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical focus is on mental health care for children, adolescents, and young adults, typically between the ages of 5 and 30; however, she is certified to treat patients across the lifespan and has experience working with individuals ranging from ages 5 to 73.

In addition to her clinical practice, Jessica has a strong background in healthcare education. She has taught both didactic and clinical rotations for a variety of allied health professionals, including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Qualified Medication Aides (QMA), Pharmacy Technicians, Phlebotomy Technicians, and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). Driven by a deep commitment to patient-centered care and mental wellness, she strives to create a supportive and understanding environment where individuals and families feel empowered throughout their mental health journey.
