FAQ

Common Questions

1. Does the healthcare office offer private or semi-private rooms?

All treatments occur in a private, comfortable, room.

2. What are the Side effects of TMS?

Transcranial magnetic stimulation does not generally have systemic side effects. Many patients choose TMS to avoid the side effects that are associated with medication.

3. Will I need to take time off of work?

Transcranial magnetic stimulation can be worked into most people’s daily routine. Patients can go about their daily tasks immediately following a session as there is no anesthesia or medication involved.

4. Does the healthcare office have extended hours?

Our clinics offer early morning through late evening hours.

5. Can TMS help my child?

Relief Mental Health has treated many children and adolescents safely and effectively. Typically insurance does not cover treatment for individuals under 18 but we have cash options that are attainable.

6. Is TMS right for me?

Relief Mental Health will provide you with an assessment to see if TMS is a good fit for you. Contact us to see if TMS is the right fit.
