Rene Buenzow, DNP, PMHNP-BC, APRN-BC

Rene Buenzow, DNP, PMHNP-BC, APRN-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health in Middleton, WI. Dr. Buenzow provides psychiatric medication management and SPRAVATO® (esketamine) treatment for adults facing treatment-resistant depression or major depression with suicidal thoughts or actions. With a background in both psychiatry and family practice, Dr. Buenzow offers an integrative approach to treatment. She has experience treating acute and chronic psychiatric diagnoses and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to connect patients with the support they need. Her areas of interest include trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, family systems, and culturally responsive mental health services.
