Overview

Michelle is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner passionate about delivering comprehensive mental health care. She offers medication management, psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, and care coordination to individuals across the lifespan. Her approach is rooted in advocacy, empowerment, and evidence-based treatment, tailoring care to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University and her Master of Science in Nursing (PMHNP) from Wayne State University. She has a diverse nursing background, including experience in the Neuro-ICU, Cardiac Surgery ICU, and outpatient epilepsy care. Her experience as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer early in her nursing career reinforced her belief that the world is rich with diverse ideas and practices that can enhance well-being, often extending beyond conventional Western approaches. This perspective continues to shape her commitment to holistic, patient-centered care.

Beginning her work at Michigan Progressive Health as an RN, Michelle has transitioned to the role of Nurse Practitioner, where she continues to explore the profoundly positive impact of emerging therapies, such as ketamine treatment. She remains dedicated to helping individuals achieve meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Outside of work, Michelle is a lifelong learner who values time with family, friends, and community, nature appreciation, and travel. She enjoys yoga practice and running, loves spending time with her dog, and embraces the joys and challenges of motherhood.
