Lauren Harrison, LMSW

Lauren obtained their Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. Their training at UofM focused on work in geriatrics and substance abuse treatment. They have completed training with the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute, Polaris Institute, and the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. Lauren has had the privilege of witnessing and encouraging clients to harness their own innate healing potential with ketamine since 2020.

As a queer-identified therapist, Lauren’s priority is to generate a safe space that can encourage vulnerability, curiosity, and authenticity. They bridge eclectic modalities such as Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to meet the unique needs of their clients. Lauren’s work weaves in trauma informed practice, anti-oppressive frameworks, and leverages systemic awareness to uncouple a client from narratives that are not serving them.

Outside of the office, Lauren loves to travel, rock climb, knit, and read. A yearly voyage to some mountainous region of the world keeps them well, as does daily snuggles with their chatty calico cat, Samsara.
