Kristi Lind Wheatley | APMHNP-BC, APRN

Kristi Lind Wheatley is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner of 15 years in psychiatry. Kristi is able to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for adults. Some of her practice specialties include, but are not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADD/ADHD, and insomnia.

Kristi started working at a psychiatric facility in 2004 as an RN when she realized it was her passion to work in psychiatry and further her career. Kristi graduated from the College of St Scholastica, Duluth, MN, in 2008 with a Master of Arts as an adult psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She started working for a non-profit organization in Bemidji, MN. From there, she started her own private practice in the Bemidji/Park Rapids, MN region. She did this for more than 6 years and worked in various settings besides her outpatient office such as, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, substance use treatment facilities, and correctional facilities. She was working at an outpatient behavioral health clinic when she had the opportunity to move to Maui and is grateful to be here with Maui Mind Care.
