Dr. Jacob Moussai, MD

Dr. Moussai integrates his broad clinical knowledge with a personalized approach to care. As a distinguished, board-certified psychiatrist, he brings more than a decade of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care. He specializes in outpatient psychiatry and psychopharmacology with clinical expertise in ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety spectrum disorders.

At Stella Mental Health, Dr. Moussai provides comprehensive psychiatric care with access to advanced interventions including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), neurofeedback, and innovative therapies for PTSD and mood disorders. He is passionate about reducing stigma, advancing mental health awareness, and helping patients achieve lasting improvement in their well-being.

Over his career, Dr. Moussai has been recognized for his excellence in psychiatry, earning consecutive California Super Doctor honors and multiple Certificates of Excellence and Appreciation from the VA. His academic contributions include numerous publications in leading journals and groundbreaking research in neuroimaging, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Dr. Moussai earned his medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at Yale University School of Medicine. He continues to stay at the forefront of psychiatric medicine through clinical practice, teaching, and public speaking engagements.
