Fauzia Akhtar is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Fauzia has over 10 years of extensive patient care experience at multiple medical institutions. She is passionate about providing top-quality, benevolent, and comprehensive mental health care to adults ages 18-64. Fauzia possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by the ability to build rapport with patients and families. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience during patient interactions. After graduating from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021.
