Overview

Dr. Courtney Marden understands mental health is influenced by many factors, including stress, home environment, past history, medical conditions, and lifestyle considerations. She takes all of these factors into consideration and ensures patients are an equal partner in their mental health treatment journey. Having worked in the mental health field since 2002 and in psychiatric nursing since 2007, Dr. Marden has extensive experience with a wide array of mental illnesses including eating disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, and psychosis.

Dr. Marden graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah College of Nursing in 2021, and participated in the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program at the Salt Lake City VA. She received specialized training in PTSD/PTSI diagnosis and treatment, homeless outreach services, Clozaril clinic, substance use treatment, inpatient psychiatry, and crisis intervention. Dr. Marden is excited to use her experience and passion to continue to work with veterans and patients to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing.
