Claire Oliver, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Claire Oliver, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Relief Mental Health in Chicago’s West Loop. With 10 years of experience in behavioral health, Claire assists patients who are struggling with behavioral issues, sleep disorders such as insomnia, trauma and/or PTSD, or other mental health concerns.

Claire prioritizes fostering therapeutic relationships with her clients and enjoys helping them identify and reach treatment goals. Her treatment approach is individual-focused and optimized by collaboration between herself and the client. Claire has clinical experience in working with a diverse clientele in both community and hospital settings, including crisis/behavioral health emergency rooms, and inpatient and outpatient levels of care. She also has expertise in applied behavior analysis treatment for individuals struggling with autism spectrum disorder.

An active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), Claire presented a study entitled “Using Genetic Testing to Assist with Treatment Decisions in the Outpatient Psychiatric Setting: Case Studies from the Clinic” at the APNA Annual National Convention in 2019 with her co-authors.

Claire earned a Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Saint Louis University. She is an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)-accredited and board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Claire joined Relief in 2022 and resides in Chicago. She loves trying new restaurants, traveling, relaxing and coffee.

Claire’s work within Relief Mental Health means that in addition to receiving SPRAVATO esketamine or psychiatry services, her clients can be seamlessly seen by our therapists or treated through TMS, if deemed clinically appropriate.
