Janice Bang Eckman, PMHNP-BC

Janice Bang Eckman is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who believes in holistic care for all age groups from all backgrounds. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing & Master of Science degrees from Wilkes University. Janice’s past RN experience includes medical intensive care, medical/surgical practice, and care management. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources & Environmental Science from Purdue University.

Janice believes in the power of self and self-empowerment of her patients. She believes in supporting her patients by meeting them where they are, then collaborating together by exploring and guiding them to their ultimate goal of where they foresee their future and desires to be.

She is passionate about not only providing holistic care but incorporating mind and body wellness with the environment we are surrounded by and live in. When not working, she enjoys powerlifting, hiking, and spending time with her family, exploring Salt Lake City as she has recently moved from Pennsylvania. Janice also speaks and is fluent in Korean.
