Overview

Michael Christensen, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in both primary care and mental health. Raised in Utah, Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University before completing his medical training at the University of St. Francis.

Michael brings a holistic perspective to treatment, focusing on the whole person rather than just symptoms. He is experienced in supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. At Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus), he provides comprehensive care that includes psychiatric medication management, trauma-focused treatment, and innovative therapies such as ketamine-assisted therapy, Spravato® (esketamine), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

With five years of experience in primary care and additional training in psychiatry, Michael understands the connection between physical and mental health. He enjoys collaborating closely with each client to create personalized treatment plans that foster long-term healing and resilience.

Outside of his clinical work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, making family the center of his life.
