Our Long Beach clinic offers a sophisticated, drug-free alternative for individuals who have struggled to find effective results with standard medications. We utilize Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive procedure that stimulates specific brain regions without the need for anesthesia or complex surgeries. This localized approach allows patients from Belmont Shore, Bixby Knolls, and Signal Hill to receive treatment and return to their coastal lifestyle immediately after each session.
The clinical team at Anew Era in Long Beach is dedicated to improving mental health through personalized clinical outcomes by targeting the root causes of depression. Located in the prominent City National Bank building at 100 Oceangate, our facility is centrally positioned near the 710 freeway and the Long Beach World Trade Center, making daily visits convenient for those working in the downtown business district. During your consultation, we will explain the science behind the electromagnetic pulses and how they revitalize neural pathways to regulate mood.
This Long Beach location maintains a rigorous standard of care, with every session monitored by certified TMS technicians and overseen by psychiatric specialists. If you are concerned about potential discomfort, our staff can walk you through common TMS side effects, which are typically mild and transient. Because TMS is a non-systemic therapy, it avoids the side effects commonly associated with oral antidepressants, such as weight gain, nausea, or brain fog.
The clinical team at Anew Era serves the greater Long Beach community by providing local access to world-class interventional psychiatry. By choosing a facility close to home, patients can bypass the stress of commuting into downtown Los Angeles or across Orange County for specialized care. Our flexible scheduling is designed to accommodate the active lives of residents in the Port of Long Beach area, ensuring that professional and family obligations do not stand in the way of recovery.
The cost of TMS therapy can vary based on your individualized treatment plan. Our patient resources indicate that most major insurance plans cover treatment for depression. This location accepts these providers, and our staff will help you verify insurance coverage before you begin.
TMS therapy at Anew Era is commonly used for depression. Depending on clinical qualifications and regulatory approvals, treatment may also be available for conditions such as obsessive-compulsive disorder or other mood-related concerns.
Referral requirements depend on insurance policies. Some patients can self-refer, while others may need documentation from a psychiatrist or mental health professional to establish medical necessity. The clinic staff can guide patients through the appropriate steps.
